Compensation for leveraged crypto positions illegally closed by Etoro in January 2021.

If yes you should be entitled for compensation/reimbursement as Etoro admitted that they have wrongly calculated certain profits/losses, effectively charging me as high as 4.34% more!

If you had any profit or loss on small value crypto assets like XRP, it was also subjected to “hidden” percentage adjustment, as price was conveniently rounded up or down.

I had my Account Statement reviewed by a finance professional who checked over 1200 positions/trades on my account and found discrepancies in over 32% cases.

I alone am entitled 4700$ compensation but figures can be higher for other users. I`ve now been contacted by many users and the systematically the same problem is found!

Etoro want to pay me hush money so I do not claim any damages or compensation or effectively don`t sue them and want me to sign a waiver. They know they have a serious problem (as It may have affected over 200,000 active crypto trading users) but they don`t know that I estimate that they make approx. 78$ on each $1000 deposit, so less users or less deposits (due to cautiousness, and knowing real risks and problems they may encounter or choosing other trading platform with better reputation altogether) means potentially millions in lost revenue.

We`ve estimated all claims can amass to even $5.6 mln. If loss of existing users and new users is added and revenue from existing users reduced as a precaution (due to Etoro`s flaws exposed) then Etoro`s losses can millions every year. It only takes one complaint at a time. Precedence is already set.

Of course, we don`t want Etoro to loose money, but we want them to:

-Treat customers respectfully,
-Listen and act professionally to every customers complaint
-explain all discrepancies found
-do better AML and financial situation check and protect vulnerable customers (but not by kicking them out of Etoro)
-let users stay on platform how long they need to see their investments mature, don`t close accounts with lame or no excuses, at worst timing too.

As the algorithms are automatic and the same for all users, we see in the cases that we reviewed so far that all users would have had their accounts wrongly calculated. Etoro now fears they will have to pay millions in compensation!

I need to understand how many people traded crypto in 2017-2019 and before, even if it was one trade. Please just send me an email and say yes, or better yes and how much you`ve invested in crypto. This will build a picture of how many people could have been done wrong by Etoro.

Etoro want me to sign a waiver as I made them aware that I have facts and evidence of: negligence, misrepresentation (false reviews stating secure FCA regulated trading environment, without pointing out exception of crypto assets, basically making crypto trading on Etoro – UNREGULATED and UNSAFE), claims of no hidden cost which there is evidence were not true, as 4.34% additional hidden cost was charged to me, the list is wrong and covered under separate major complaint and claims for damages, too big to describe here.), not providing clear, error less, thorough financial reports as required by FCA, FCSA, poor customer service adversely affecting customers mental health, attempted appropriation of EtoroX currencies, closing copy trade positions without consent!
